I was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and grew up in Cumberland, Maryland. After attending Boston College, I lived and worked in digital media in New York City for over a decade. I am currently living in Charleston, South Carolina.

I was wearing my Columbia Journalism sweatshirt in a coffee shop recently and someone asked, “Columbia Journalism?! How did you end up in Charleston!?” I didn’t even pause before replying, “I have a high tolerance for extremes.”

My migration south has been an uprooting, but my career has been a product of constant disruption. First, social media shook up the news industry. Then influencers shook up the marketing world. Now, we are all educating ourselves daily on how, when and where to focus our algorithm energies in business. I go back to the same principle every day: people.

I know the equal share of left brain and right brain skills needed to not only lead and create, but monetize content to maximize business potential. I enjoy developing young talent, optimizing efficiency and ensuring workflows and communication are seamless. My specialty is leading cross-functional teams and overseeing multiple streams of content creation, both domestically and abroad. I have consistently demonstrated I am a tour de force when it comes to delivering beyond the original ask and coming in under budget, especially in the start-up environment. It’s important to me to work with compassionate people and teams that are committed to a high quality product.
